This is My Elgg site, an invitation-only, network of artists, technicians, students, instructors and executives within the global music industries. We created this social network with the aim to create the most meaningful interactions possible with those who desire to make a positive impact upon the music industry. Not only do members of The Six Finger Record gain access to the freshest and the most experienced minds in the industry, learn of job openings and establish new contacts for their own projects, they also have the chance to review selected academic/research materials produced by MW Global Arts and Six Finger Learning ranging in topics from artist development, music publishing, recording techniques, etc.
Currently, we are in the "quiet" phases of our invitation process and network launch. By the beginning of 2010, The Six Finger Record will be home to thousands of music industry members, representing countless perspectives and business opportunities around the world.
